Another Record Quarter for Autonomy

I was going through the Autonomy web site over the weekend, looking for current data to included in a quotation we were wrapping up. Autonomy’s results will be released on 24 October, and have been tipped to be yet another cracker of a quarter. Here are some stats for quarter 2, 2006:

Ultraseek Price Drop

Under Autonomy’s reseller guidelines, we’re now able to purchase in Australian dollars, not US dollars. This means hedging costs are eliminated (or at least, no longer our problem) and we’ve reworked list prices to include not only these savings but the recent improvement in the exchange rate.

UK National Archives Goes Live With Autonomy

The National Archives of the United Kingdom (http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk) has just gone live with an Autonomy IDOL server-based solution that provides online access to the Archive’s 30 million plus documents, dating from the Domesday Book of 1086 to the present day.
