Analyze

First we figure out what needs to be done to get visitors to your web site. As a minimum we use web analytics (so we know how existing visitors use your web site) and keyword research (so we know what people are searching for).

Then we look at your competitors’ web sites to see if they’re capable of stealing your business, and we look at your web site for potential improvements.

For some clients we run a small online advertising campaign to test ideas, concepts and keyword demand.

Optimize

Using traditional search engine optimization (SEO) techniques, we recommend changes to web page metadata, copy and links to maximize search engine visibility. SEO is always worth doing well; results are long-lasting, but in competitive markets increased search engine rankings and traffic may take six months or more to show.

Advertise

If a short-term or controlled traffic boost is the requirement we design, implement and manage one or more paid search campaigns using Google Adwords and/ or Yahoo! Search Marketing programs. Results are immediate, and advertising costs reduce over time as testing incrementally improves each campaign.

Publicise

The recent impact of ‘Web 2.0’ technologies such as blogs, social media sites, forums and content sharing sites cannot be overstated. Immense traffic spikes are possible; however the norm is a steadily increasing level of web site traffic over time. We use a cautious, content-centric approach that builds links to your web site from Web 2.0, article, press release, and other content-rich web sites.
