You’ve got a list of people who once wanted what you sell. They said no. Or not yet. Or they disappeared. You moved on. But you never actually found out if they’d changed their mind.
Stratify’s Sales Recovery Service answers one question: is there still money in this list?
We validate your contacts. We send plain-text emails from a real person on your team asking if they’re interested in talking. People reply yes or no. Your sales team gets the YES responses. You get your answer.
You upload up to 1,000 dormant contacts. We go through a multi-step validation process that corrects obvious typos, removes bounces, bypassses spam traps, and disables repeat ‘spam complainers.’
We configure your sending infrastructure and warm it up properly.
We carefully stage email sends over three to four weeks so we don’t trigger spam filters.
YES replies come straight to your sales team. We remove the NO responses from your list, as required by anti-spam legislation.
Stratify’s Lead Recovery Service typically take four to six weeks to complete.
Day 1: You order. We send you a a detailed email that explains the process and contains links to your unique data upload form, Kit signup link, and list formatting requirements.
Days 2–3: You upload your list in the designated format. We validate and prepare for sending.
Days 4–24: We send emails in small batches. Replies start arriving in your sales team’s inbox.
Week 6: We send you a report showing how many addresses are still reachable, what percentage replied, and what it means for your business.
At the conclusion of the project, you get three things:
- A cleaned, validated list with every address tagged by status.
- A report with metrics: reachability rate, reply rate, and what it means.
- Access to your own operational Kit instance so you can run future campaigns if you want to.
But the real thing you get is certainty.
If there’s money in the list, your sales team has warm leads to chase. If there isn’t, you move on to other lead generation activities without guilt.
- Stratify’s Lead Recovery Service complies with Australian privacy and spam legislation.
- Your list needs to be in reasonable shape. First and last names, email addresses, product or service of interest, last contact date, one row per contact, in a predfined CSV format. We clean up typos and obvious formatting issues as part of the validation process. But if your data is a mess, we can’t work with it.
- Replies depend on your list quality and how old it is. A three-year-old list will perform differently than a one-year-old list. We can’t predict your reply rate, but we can tell you if it’s worth scaling up.
- You must have Express (direct opt-in) or Inferred (existing relationship) consent to contact, as these terms are defined in the Spam Act 2003. We won’t work with scraped or purchased contact lists, and you will be asked to confirm consent status at checkout.
- Lists decay over time. Our list scrubbing process makes sure that emails are sent only to addresses that are current, trouble-free, and likely to be regularly monitored. Expect that 15 to 30% of your contact list will not pass validation, increasing to 50%+ of the list is older than a few years.
